Before I came to Australia I read a book about it. I was excited just reading about Australia, but now I can say that actually being here is even better than what was written in that book!
In the beginning it was hard. I missed my family, my house, my friends, my dog and the food! But I knew that I had to make the most of my stay and enjoy it as much as I could.

After 7 months here I’m really happy, because I feel that I have achieved most of my goals. I have a good level of English, I’ve worked in different places and I’ve travelled around Australia. But the most exciting thing that has happened to me on my trip was making so many new friends in such a short time.

For me, studying at SELC in a class with so many different nationalities was a great experience. It helped me learn more about other cultures and gave me the opportunity to make new friends from all over the world.
