Mikko

After Mikko finished high school in Switzerland, he served in the army in Finland. He had always heard about the Australian “no worries” mentality, so when he left the army due to a back injury, he decided to come to Sydney and
check for himself what Australia was all about.

The result? 100% happy! He says Sydneysiders are really easy- going and friendly. He also mentions that he really likes Bondi because it is a very cool location, close to the beach and with good connections to the city. It is
also a quiet and safe area, different from the crowded city and not as far from everything as Manly.

Mikko is currently doing the preparation course for the Cambridge Proficiency exam and is really happy about the way we teach at SELC. He says there is a good balance between fun and serious learning.

Mikko also highlighted SELC’s warm and welcoming atmosphere. His future plans include aviation training and, who knows, flying over Sydney!
