How to Enrol at SELC

Student Visa

If you intend to study for more than 12 weeks:

  • You will need to apply for a student visa.
  • You must enrol for full-time study.
  • You must also pay compulsory medical insurance (OSHC)

If your student visa was granted on or after 28 April 2008, you don’t need to apply for work permission. You already have work permission on your student visa and this allows you to work for 20 hours per week.

Some countries require a Pre-visa Assessment (PVA). Please check with DIAC website (www.immi.gov.au) or contact us directly for details.

DIAC: Department of Immigration and Citizenship

If you DO NOT need a PVA

If you are from a country that doesn’t need a Pre-Visa Assessment (PVA) , you must do the following:

  • Pay to SELC the amount on the invoice.
  • When SELC receives your payment, we will issue an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment form (eCoE) necessary for student visa processing.
  • The form will be transmitted through the Internet to the embassy. A copy can be faxed/ e-mailed to you to present to the embassy for completion of student visa processing.
